Equipment Warranty
Used
x-ray systems are warranted against operational failure for a period of 90
days from date of shipment. During this period we will repair, replace, or
compensate, at our option, any system or component that may fails, when
such items are returned or delivered, by prepaid transportation, to TSG or
other authorized service center we designate. Used equipment warranty is
f.o.b.
X-ray tubes, when used within their ratings, and other evacuated devices, (i.e. imaging tubes), are guaranteed against failure on a pro-rata basis over the warranty period or 500 hours of use, whichever occurs first. The “hours of use” for x-ray tubes is defined as filament/beam on time. X-ray tube receptacles and high-voltage cables will not be warranted against arc-over failures unless properly installed by TSG or other authorized persons.
For cabinet x-ray or other “real-time” type systems which are installed by TSG’s representatives, warranty begins on the date of completion of installation, or thirty (30) days from delivery, whichever occurs first. After completion of installation, if on-site warranty service is requested, the customer shall be responsible for travel time and expenses charges at TSG’s prevailing, or previously negotiated rates.
These guarantees apply only if the equipment has been properly installed, and has been operated in accordance with the instruction manuals. Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from accidents, alterations, abuse, or misuse. Warranty does not apply to products that are operated in excess of the manufacturer’s specified maximum ratings. No claims will be accepted under this warranty if repairs are made or attempted by persons or service stations not authorized by TSG.
Unless specifically quoted otherwise, used “stand alone” x-ray cabinets or handling equipment are sold in “as-is” condition. These items are sold without any guarantee other than to be serviceable when delivered and to be as represented at time of order. No other guarantees are made or implied. Claims, other than shipping damage, of items received that are not serviceable or as represented, should immediately be transmitted to TSG upon receipt of such items.
Technical
Services Group, Inc. shall not be held responsible or liable for, loss of
production, loss of profit, or any other direct or indirect loss, caused
by a malfunction in the equipment, delay in repair service or delivery of
spare parts. In the case of replacement or compensation under this
warranty the replaced or compensated items then become property of TSG.
