Technical Services Group, Inc. Systems & Accessories Warranty

TSG Industrial X-Ray Systems are guaranteed for a period of one year from date of delivery, against defects in materials or workmanship. During this period we will replace, repair or compensate, at our option, any parts that may prove defective, when the parts or complete assemblies are returned or delivered, by prepaid transportation, to TSG or other authorized service center we designate. All warranty freight expenses are the responsibility of the customer unless previously agreed otherwise.

X-ray tubes, when used within their ratings, and other evacuated devices, (i.e. imaging tubes), are warranted against manufacturing defects on a pro-rata basis over 12-months from date of delivery or 2000 hours of normal use, whichever occurs first. The “hours of use” for x-ray tubes is defined as filament/beam on time. Arced high-voltage receptacles on x-ray tubes are normally not considered as defects, but will be warranted for a period of six months when installed by authorized persons and properly maintained.

High-tension, (high-voltage), x-ray cables are warranted against material and workmanship defects on a pro-rata basis for a period of six months from system delivery. Cables will be warranted against arc-over failures only if installed by authorized persons and properly maintained during warranty period.

Cabinet x-ray systems include additional “on-site” warranty service for the first sixty (60) days of the warranty period, thereafter regular warranty terms apply. During the sixty-day period, TSG will cover the cost of travel and expenses to provide warranty service at the customer’s location for any reasonable warranty claims. Incidental claims, such as burned out lamps, which do not prevent operation of the system, or that are simply resolved by delivery of replacement components, may not be considered reasonable to justify on site service. On-site warranty service beyond sixty days, when requested by the customer, shall require that the customer be responsible for travel time and expenses charges at TSG’s prevailing, or previously negotiated rates. Cabinet x-ray systems warranty begins on the date of completion of installation and acceptance at the customer’s premises, or thirty (30) days from delivery, whichever occurs first.

For other manufacturer’s sub-assemblies and components, (not described elsewhere in this document), that are integrated into TSG’s systems, the original manufacturer’s respective warranties will apply.

These guarantees apply only if the equipment has been properly installed, and has been operated in accordance with the instruction manuals.  Warranty does not apply to defects resulting from accidents, alterations, abuse, or misuse.  Warranty does not apply to products that are operated in excess of the manufacturer’s specified maximum ratings. No claims will be accepted under this warranty if repairs are made or attempted by persons or service stations not authorized by us.

Technical Services Group, Inc. shall not be held responsible or liable for, loss of production, loss of profit, or any other direct or indirect loss, caused by a malfunction in the equipment, delay in repair service or delivery of spare parts. In the case of replacement or compensation under this warranty the original product then becomes property of TSG.
