Warranty
TSG’s
repair services are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of 90 days. During this period we will correct any repair
which proves defective, free of any additional labor and material charges.
Warranty is f.o.b.
Service parts sold direct to our customers are warranted against defects for 90 days from date of shipment, f.o.b. the point of shipment or TSG designated return location. High-voltage parts not installed by TSG are excluded from any warranty, express or implied, unless upon examination by the original manufacturer, proven to be defective and replacement so authorized. During this period we will replace, repair or compensate, at our option, any part that may prove defective. Manufacturer’s warranties on some parts sold by TSG may exceed the guarantees stated herein. In such case, TSG will extend such warranty to our customers where so agreed by the manufacturer.
High-voltage x-ray cables are warranted against material and workmanship defects on a pro-rata basis for a period of six months from system delivery. Cables will be warranted against arc-over failures only if installed by authorized persons and properly maintained during warranty period.
Used parts and components are guaranteed against failure for a period of 30 days from shipment. During this period we will, at our option, replace, repair, or compensate for any part that fails to perform as designed.
These guarantees apply only if the parts have been properly installed, and operated in accordance with the instruction manuals. Warranty does not apply to items subjected to accidents, alterations, abuse, or misuse. Warranty does not apply to products that are operated in excess of the manufacturer’s specified maximum ratings. No claims will be accepted under this warranty if repairs are made or attempted by persons or service stations not authorized by us.
All
warranty freight or transportation expenses are the responsibility of the
customer unless previously agreed otherwise. Warranty claims should be
properly packaged to avoid additional shipping damage, and returned via
prepaid transportation to TSG’s designated warranty service location.
Freight collect shipments will not be accepted. TSG will not responsible
for damages occurring during shipment, and any such damages are not
covered under this warranty. Shipping damage claims should immediately be
made directly with the respective freight company.
Technical
Services Group, Inc. shall not be held responsible or liable for, loss of
production, loss of profit, or any other direct or indirect loss, caused
by a malfunction in the equipment, delay in repair service or delivery of
spare parts. In the case of replacement or compensation under this
warranty, the original product then becomes property of TSG. No other
guarantees, expressed or implied are made. This warranty is limited to the
original purchaser and is not transferable.
